Kato-san asked about available packages for performing photometry.
I have looked back on my notes, and find the following packages.
This is intended to eventually become a complete, up-to-date list,
so if anyone has corrections, I'd like to get them.  I make no
judgements as to the quality of these packages or which would work best
for you.

COMMERCIAL PACKAGES

     Complete image processing system that includes photometry sections
     Michael Newberry

  CCDIR  http://vsnet.flagstaff.az.us/~ccdir
     A Windows95 version is being released soon

  H&K  http://vsnet.willbell.com
    Willmann-Bell sells this basic package that processes the data
    after the extraction has been done by another package.

  PCIPS
    Oleg Smirnov used to market this.  Included DAOPHOT.  I can't
    find it on the net.

  PCVISTA
    An implementation of the VISTA image processing system for the PC.
    I can't find a source on the net.

SHAREWARE

    Implementation of DAOPHOTII for PC Windows and Linux.

FREEWARE/PUBLIC DOMAIN

  PCVISTA
    An implementation of the VISTA image processing system for the PC.
    I can't find a source on the net.

  DAOPHOTII  http://vsnet.fiz.uni-lj.si/astro/daophot.html
     PC implementation.  Version -II of DAOPHOT has numerous improvements,
     so look for programs using its algorithms rather than the original
     DAOPHOT.
