According to sn_cat.dat in GCVS, there recorded 4 intergalactic SNe :

1964O    Intergal                                 Sep 15 * 15.0   *                150728. +553930"  -    P.Wild          129129
1966O ?* Intergal?                                Feb 16 * 15.5   *                111330. +293800'  -    J.Anderson+     145
1972  ?* Intergal?                                Mar 18 * 13.5  V                 090619.2+445847   -    P.Wild          187
1980I  * Intergal                                 Jul 11 * 14.    *                122303.4+131011 I pec  M.Rosker+       248256

And there are some additional notes about them (* marked):

1966O? (Intergal) CE UMa. The star's being a galactic UG type variable is
              not excluded. Not seen on PSS prints (limiting magnitude
              21.1pg), Delta m >= 5.6.

1972? (Intergal) NSV 04394. Possibly an eruptive var.

1980I (Intergal) In 7'E from NGC 4374 and 3'S from NGC 4406. Ibdependently
              discovered by E.Gonzalez on July 11, m = 14pg.

I don't know about the status of the discovery or the followups of
them, but the former 3 seems to be foreground variables. The last one,
1980I seems to be observed spectroscopically (type is assigned).
It can be a real intergalactic SN.

Other intergalactic SNe are reported by distant survey groups
nowadays.
