[vsnet-chat 684] V sequences for southern AGN's.

Hi All,
On the question of V sequences for southern QSO's, AGN's and BL Lac objects,
I have found a paper by Mario Hamuy and Jose Maza (Astron. J 97,720 (1989)).
This gives UBVRI sequences for 15 such objects, including Seyfert galaxies.
All are southern, if one counts 3C 273 as "southern".
They also measured the field of PKS 2155-304. They also measured stars 2 and
3. Their results are - #2, V =12.05, B-V = 0.69; #3, V =13.00, B-V = 0.90.

Star C was not measured by Hamuy and Maza, but note the excellent agreement
for stars 2 & 3 (Smith et al, Astrophys. J. Suppl. 77:67 (1991).
