W Lyr: Analysis of the AFOEV data
Results of the correlation analysis of 34 parameters of 83 individual
pulsation cycle of W Lyr based on the 6471 observations from the AFOEV
database.
The table of extrema is simultaneously being sent to VSNET-OBS.
The indices correspond to:
0,1,2 - trial, preceding and successive maximum;
3,4 - preceding and successive minimum;
5, 6 - crossings of the smoothed light curve with a constant brightness
9.0 mag (vis);
7, 8 - crossings of the smoothed light curve with a constant brightness
11.5 mag (vis);
t - time
m - magnitude
f - phase
d - dt/dm - inverse slope of the light curve.
Combinations likewise tt1 mean differences (t1-t0),
m3m -> (m0-m3), t34-> (t4-t3).
The asymmetry estimates are a34=(t0-t3)/(t4-t3)
and a01=(t0-t3)/(t0-t1).
Below the diagonal: 100* correlation coefficient (to spare places for "0.")
Above the diagonal: 10* abs(correlation coefficient / its error estimate),
i.e. values >30 show that the correlation coefficient exceeds 3sigma and
the correlation is statistically significant.

This table is supplementary to the
complete paper
W Lyrae: varibility of the pulsation cycles of the Mira-type star
which will be published in
'Kinematika i fizika nebesnyh tel' (Kiev)
Fit of the light curve with a third-order trigonometric polynomial
corresponds to a mean period P=197.150+-.004, inside the
interval of values 194.99-198.97d published in the GCVS IV.
Variations of the period and of the brightness
at maximum and minimum are detected at time scales 47 and 25 years.
