[vsnet-chat 305] The star with the largest angular diameter

According to T. R. Bedding et al. MNRAS 286, 957 (1997), R Dor is shown
to have the largest angular diameter among all stars except the Sun.
Its angular diameter is 57 +/- 5 mas, even exceeding that of Betelgeuse.
With a magnification power of 1000, your telescope might (or might not!?)
show the star having a disc size of Jupiter.
