I should explain here how this mis-identification occurred. The observer
confused a star at 090432.27 -322251.2 (J2000.0) = IRAS 09024-3210 = WW Pyx
(12.4-13.2v) with the 12.5-mag comparison, since the former looked pretty
bright on red-sensitive I.I. images, while the Burnham's book shows the star
much fainter presumably because of its blue sensitivity of the source
photograph.
