My understanding is that the ER UMa stars show much longer timescales of
very frequent outbursting behaviour than the more than 2 months activity
of EG Cnc. The ER UMa stars also show various supercycles after each
other on short timescales, whereas the EG Cnc and systems alike (TOADs or
WZ Sge stars) several short outbursts after a superoutburst and then
nothing for a long time thereafter, i.e. they have very long supercycle
times.
