[vsnet-chat 1] (fwd) on vsnet charts

Dear vsnet and vsnet-chat subsribers:

   We have received the following suggestion from T. Ishida.  Anyone
interested in discussing on this topic should continue in vsnet-chat.

Dear vsnet-administators;

Thank you for your effort to enrich channels between us, 
people interested in variable stars.  

However, it seems to be better for the smooth exchange of 
information to make an alternative classification as follows: 

1. vsnet (general)

2. vsnet-alert

3. vsnet-obs

4. vsnet-chat

5. vsnet-chart

I proposed above classification, because non-observing people, 
like me, may not need charts.  And some observing people, 
whos attention are concentrated to particular kind of 
variable stars, may also not need all of the charts, now 
distributed to all of the subscribers.  

In my case, I WILL subscribe all of them.  But, some will not. 

Of course, every subscribers will need information on 
charts, too.  Therefore, such as 'Weekly information on 
vsnet-charts" will be needed.  

Considering the possibility that you might decide to make 
open discussion on this subject to vsnet, I wrote it in 
(broken) English.  Feel free to make open, or to return 
an e-mail to me in Japanese. 

I am happy if you take my opinion into account when you have 
the next chance for renewal of the vsnet.
