V585 Lyr: regrowth of superhumps! Dear Colleagues, The VSNET Collaboration has received further data from Jochen Pietz (two nights). The object has faded more slowly than before for the last three nights, which follows our expectation. Furthermore, the object is now experiencing the stage of expected regrowth of superhumps. The current amplitude of the superhumps is about 0.15 mag. This feature closely follow the superhump evolution in V1028 Cyg and other short-period systems (Baba et al. 2000, PASJ 52, 429; Kato et al. 2003, PASJ in press, astro-ph/0307064). The object is expected to enter the terminal stage immediately followed by a rapid decline. Even after that, we can expect post-superoutburst rebrightening(s). Further observations are strongly encouraged. Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
