V589 Her outburst

   As reported by Carlo Gualdoni and Patrick Schmeer, the suspected SU UMa-
type dwarf nova V589 Her is undergoing an outburst.  Although there has
been a claim of superhump detection, this needs to be confirmed by more
systematic observations.  V699 Oph and V1141 Aql being priority targets,
V589 Her would be regarded as the "second priority target".  If you have
a second telescope, please make it a try.
