GO Com: rebrightening? Dear Colleagues, The VSNET Collaboration has received new data from Sano-san, Tom Krajci, Tanabe-san (VSNET Okayama Station) and the Okayama U. Sci. team. The most recent data (June 11) indicates 0.1 mag rebrightening superimposed on the general fading trend. This occurrence of a rebrightening is rather unexpected during the plateau stage of a superoutburst. The amplitude of the superhumps seems to have grown. Although definitive conclusion would need further observations under good conditions, the behavior of GO Com has shown signification deviations from the "canonical" SU UMa-type superoutburst. We must have learned much about them from the current rare superoutburst! Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
