GO Com: anomalous period change again? Dear Colleagues, The VSNET team has received further data from Lew Cook, Sano-san, Tom Krajci, Tanabe-san (VSNET Okayama Station) and Okayama U. of Sci. team. Superhumps persist with slightly decreasing amplitudes. The superhumps now sometimes show double-humped profile, which is most likely interpreted as the appearance of secondary superhump maxima. Up to early June 9, the period change has followed the tendency reported yesterday. On late June 9, the superhump maxima appeared significantly later than the earlier trend. Although the reality of this detection needs to be verified (by further observations), it may be also possible that there may have been another major period change. The period behavior of the superhumps in GO Com has been very complex, and needs to be thoroughly studied. Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
