OU Vir: new data and period analysis Dear Colleagues, We have received new data from Brian Martin, Jochen Pietz, Nogami-san at Hida observatory, and analyzed 3 nights data taken at Kyoto. The superhumps were still present with an amplitude 0.2 mag (May 9, 10). There is some indication of a double wave on May 10, which needs to be confirmed by further observation. The observed superhump maxima are well expressed by a period of 0.07513(3) d, confirming our previous identification. The period variation is almost zero up to now, although we need to carefully study the variation using the complete set to remove the effect of overlapping eclipses. The eclipses on May 9 were less prominent, with depths of 0.5-0.6 mag and rather short duration, but became more prominent (1.0 mag or sometimes deeper) on May 10. This indicates that the beat phenomenon is still very prominent. Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
