TV Crv outburst As reported by Rod Stubbings, the short-period, large-amplitude, SU UMa-type dwarf nova TV Crv is in outburst. The last confirmed outburst was in 2002 May - June (superoutburst). Since most of the outbursts of this object are superoutbursts, the current outburst is possibly a superoutburst again. Although this object had been observed in the past, there has not yet been a systematic, complete coverage. Ishioka-san is undertaking the job in summarizing observations, and we would be happy to receive additional observations for the current outburst. Please note that TV Crv was reported to show variations resembling "early superhumps" in WZ Sge stars, or once showed probable super-QPOs during the early stage of a superoutburst. Detailed observations at this moment is also very encouraged. This object is selected as the second priority target (the first being OU Vir) in the evening; if OU Vir is too faint, please turn your telescope to TV Crv!
