1RXP J113123+4322.5: superhumps! Dear Colleagues, The Kyoto observation (observer: M. Uemura) last night revealed the presence of beutiful superhumps (amplitude 0.22 mag). The outburst is thus confirmed to be a genuine superoutburst. The object may have been on its final rising stage. The superhump period based on this single night observation is 0.0643(4) d, which may be slightly shorter than the one (0.06495 d) obtained in 2002. Although further observations are required for a longer baseline, this difference may suggest that the object is experiencing a stage of early rapid evolutionary stage of the superhumps. The mean profile on March 13 is posted at: http://vsnet.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/pub/vsnet/DNe/J1131/j1131-0313.gif Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
