The object is currently known as a short Porb (~2 hr) object, which is
a good candidate for an SU UMa-type star. However, see
* Kato et al. (2001) IBVS 5123
absence of superhumps during a long outburst

unusual clustering of short outbursts

information for these works.)
Both suggest that GZ Cnc may be an unusual object. Further detailed
observations during the present outburst are strongly encouraged!
