KV And superhumps Dear Colleagues, We hav analyzed the data up to Nov. 8 (Kyoto; Torii-san, RIKEN, Tanabe-san, VSNET Okayama Station). All the data show clear persistence of superhumps. Since the limited past observations did not allow a meaningful Pdot estimate, the present excellent coverage is expected to provide the first opportunity in precisely determining the period change. KV And is rather unusual in its large outburst amplitude (one of the largest among long-period SU UMa-type dwarf novae), more detailed study is highly wanted. Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
