V601 Sco: no outburst

Dear Colleagues,

   Berto Monard just informed us that V601 Sco is not seen in outburst
on his CCD images.  A representative image is placed at:

   http://vsnet.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/pub/vsnet/DNe/V601_Sco/v601sco.gif

   There is a very red star just west to the real V601 Sco.  It is likely
this star has been visually detected.

   V601 Sco is apparently no longer (at least this time) our priority
target.  Please observe AB Nor for the evening priority target!
