Dear DN watchers, I have examined a CCD image of V2276 Sgr taken at Hida observatory by Nogami-san. It was mag about 16.0CR on Aug 5.5 (reference: GSC2.2 red mag). Using GSC-ACT 66 reference stars, it yields: 20:26:22.19 -43:40:31.1 (fitting error \sim 0".6), which is identified with the catalogued star: GSC2.2 20:26:22.158 -43:40:31.69 r=15.64 b=19.40 USNOA2 20:26:22.159 -43:40:31.66 r=18.2 b=19.0 This star is caught bright on DSS2 R and I images, and on the epoch of GSC2.2 red, which may suggest that the outburst of V2276 Sgr is not so rare. Sincerely Yours, Hitoshi Yamaoka, Kyushu Univ., Japan yamaoka@rc.kyushu-u.ac.jp
