IY UMa sharp eclipses!

   We have received new data from Petri Tikkanen and Mika Aho, communicated
by Arto Oksanen.  The Kyoto team (observer: R. Ishioka) obtained additional
very excellent run last night (May 12), in addition to the report by
Uemura-san from Ouda.  A preliminary look at the light curve shows 1.2-mag
deep sharp eclipses, which are preceded by superhump maxima.  The striking
appearance of these features are reminiscient of WZ Sge light curve
at similar beat phases.  Further intensive observations are very strongly
encouraged.
