DV UMa: superhumps and eclipses
In the light curve taken in the last night, we can see
clear superhumps and eclipses, which show the superoutburst is
still ongoing. Superhumps have decreased in amplitude, but it
is still large (0.4-0.5mag). Eclipses became deeper (depth~1.5mag).
On April 17, the profile of eclipses is asymmetric: rapid ingress
and relatively slow egress, probably indicating a tidally distorted
accretion disk.
The object will soon enter a late phase of superoutburst, and
time-series observations of eclipses will be useful to study the
evolution of late superhumps.
