RX J0558.3+6753: superoutburst still ongoing
Although a relatively rapid fading from the last outburst was
previously reported, observations by the Kyoto team have revealed
that the 0.5mag/d fading continued for 4 days, and then, the fading
rate became more gradual on April 5. In the light curve on April 5,
we can see a part of a large (0.3mag) hump. Using the all light curves,
our preliminary period analysis provided a period of 0.080796(54) d.
Except for a somewhat large fading rate, some features of the outburst
are similar to those of superoutbursts. The regrowth of superhumps
is sometimes observed in the late phase of superoutbursts, and
RX J0558.3+6753 may now experience such a phase.
