1RXP J113123+4322.5: superhump period increased
The VSNET collaboration team has received a new time-series data
on March 7/8 kindly sent by D. Boyd. We have now 2247 data points
of this new SU UMa-type dwarf nova. Our preliminary period analysis
provided a period of 0.06501(1) d, slightly, but significantly
longer than that previously reported. This may indicate that superhump
period increased during the early phase of this superoutburst.
The period increase of superhumps is relatively rare in SU UMa-type
dwarf novae, and is frequently observed in WZ Sge stars or very
short-period SU UMa stars.
Follow-up observations are important to study the superhump
evolution in this object.

Makoto Uemura
