WZ Sge: markedly reduced hump amplitude Dear Colleagues, We have received new data from A. Oksanen, T. Vanmunster (4 nights, including a revision of the previous data) and J. Pietz (3 nights, including addition/updates to the previous data). We have also completed the analysis of the Kyoto data up to now. The data clearly show that the hump amplitude and eclipse depth reached a maximum on mid Sep. 28 (UT), and quickly decreased since then. As reported by J. Pietz, the light curve has become surprisingly flat (confirmed by independent observations by A. Oksanan and T. Vanmunster). Eclipses have also become less apparent. The object is expected to show "double" or "triple" hump structure around today or tommorrow, and the hump feature will become strong again around Oct. 2 or 3, unless a new rebrightening disturbs the present tendency. Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
