WZ Sge: fading from the sixth rebrightening
Dear Colleagues,
We have received high-quality data from D. Starkey, T. Vanmunster,
the RIT team (M. Richmond and S. Davis). New data from the Kyoto observation
have been also added.
The most striking feature in the Sep. 2 observations is the fading
trend, as observed in the past rebrightenings. The six rebrightening
generally displayed the same evolution of the phenomenon as in the past
five rebrightenings, despite a slight difference of the duration of
the flat maximum.
Large-ampltude QPOs (super-QPOs?) with periods of 2-5 min are also
transiently present, most notably between Sep. 2.05 and 2.07.
More detailed analysis will be presented later.
Regards,
Taichi Kato
