KK Tel outburst (superoutburst?) As reported by Rod Stubbings, the SU UMa-type dwarf nova (Psh = 0.0881 d) is undergoing an outburst, whose brightness and outburst intervakl suggest a superoutburst. KK Tel is known as a long-period SU UMa star with an unusual superhump period change (see Kato et al. 2003 MNRAS 339, 861). The present outburst would provide an excellent ooportunity to study the behavior in more detail. Please observe as long as possible! (The object will be included as the top-priority target in the forthcoming VSNET campaign target list). Note that there is a close star of a similar brightness. Whenever possible (although not always possible in certain software packages), please choose your software option to exclude the close companion.
