[vsnet-alert 7667] MKN 421 deep fading?

MKN 421 deep fading?

   Gary Poyner reports that MKN 421 (blazar) is exceptionally faint.
The present brightness is the faintest reported to VSNET in the past
decade.  The object may be varying with a short (less than a day)
time scale.
