Congratulations! Ths object has a superhump period of 0.06495 d, as determined from the 2002 superoutburst. The current outburst very much looks like a superoutburst, and is a very promising midnight target for long time-series observations! There was slight evidence of a (re)brightening toward the end of the 2002 superoutburst, which needs to be examined during the current outburst. Please note that the object has a close companion. The best midnight target for the VSNET Collaboration (northern observers)! [We must also note that the next superoutburst of IY UMa may be due. Please carefully monitor the likely coming outburst].
