Ilovaisky" <ilovaisky@obs-hp.fr> Hello, Observations of V1333 Aql/Aql X-1 obtained from 2003 March 4 through March 10 UT using the OHP 1.2-m telescope and CCD camera show the object reached a maximum brightness of V=16.2. This is a full 3 magnitudes above minimum, which is approximately 5.4 magnitudes above true quiescence (when corrected for the contribution by the near-by star). This is typical of the maximum levels reached during the large 1995 and 1998 outbursts. S.A.Ilovaisky C.Chevalier Observatoire de Haute-Provence
