VW Tuc rare? outburst As reported by Rod Stubbings, the dwarf nova VW Tuc is undergoing a possibly rare outburst. Although there have been substabtial gaps between observations, the last reported outburst occurred in 1997 November (Rod Stubbings). The object is in the SMC field, and is also known as SMC V0012 = HV 6327. Time-resolved CCD observations are strongly encouraged.
