Begin forwarded message: Date: Sat, 29 Jun 2002 09:49:37 -0600 From: Michael Rupen <mrupen@aoc.nrao.edu> Subject: V4641 Sgr radio variability continues Dear colleagues, here are the latest VLA measurements of V4641 Sgr, all at 8.46 GHz: Date 5jun02 0. mJy 0.050 mJy/beam 13jun02 0.097 0.064 [not a detection] 16jun02 0.44 0.084 24jun02 1.91 0.063 27jun02 0.55 0.088 28jun02 2.38 0.118 29jun02 0.76 0.102 So V4641 Sgr remains active, with mini-flares every few days (or more often; these observations were all just a couple minutes long). The next VLA runs are on 30jun02 [3mins only] 1jul02 08:04 - 10:04 UT 2jul02 04:00 - 05:00 UT 5jul02 06:18 - 08:48 UT I will spend much of this time on V4641 Sgr, checking for short-term variability, and trying to measure the radio spectrum. Simultaneous observations at other wavelengths would be very useful. Clear skies, Michael Rupen NRAO/Socorro mrupen@nrao.edu
