Maurice:
I have a spectrum of the same nova on the AAVSO web page (www.aavso.org).  I 
caught the object before the H alpha had gone into emission.  I am planning 
on taking more spectra and submitting them to the AAVSO site.  Keep up the 
good work.

Doug - I'll link your excellent spectrum at
http://vsnet.aavso.org/nsgr01-3.stm  to my webpage and include OG spectrum
from Bill Liller just received.  My 'blue-end' is absent through
atmospheric absorption with nova <7o above true SSW horizon slot and ~4o
above local horizon at lat 51.4oN<g>.
