Dear colleagues,
right now I analyze images of Al Com obtained yesterday by P. Sobotka
and before I'll report results on the WZ Sge variable we all love now, I
have a question to all of you who observe the field too. I made combined
image (last one (bottom) of the set at
http://codel.astronomy.cz/ada/stars/alcom/alcom.html) and discovered
some new stelar-like object in a region of M 88. I compared with other
images presented on the page and it seems that this feature is not on
other images. Please feel free to have a look at the page above to check
it too.
Well I know about certain problems when combining images so I'd like to
ask other to check their images of that region (observed someone?). I
hope I'll get today some more images to judge if this is some new star
(possible supernova) or artefact. Object is very faint (close to 18mag?)
so please reduce carefully your images.
Thanx for any help
Rudolf Novak
