    BV Cen is undergoing an outburst (probably on a rising branch).
The last major outburst of BV Cen occurred in 2000 May.  Since the similarity
of BV Cen with GK Per is suggested, this favorably situated outburst may
provide an opportunity to investigate the relation between these objects.
