Andrew Pearce has sent the following comment:
One thing to note about my observations is that I have been using the AAVSO
chart and it's comparison stars. My impression is that the stars are actually
brighter than the listed magnitudes on this chart. I feel that the actual
brightness may be about 0.5 mag brighter (ie about mag 15.0).
