UV Per further rise; fully grown superhumps

Dear Colleagues,

    The Kyoto data on Dec. 26 shows that UV Per had risen by ~0.5 mag
compared to Dec. 25.  (Please note the object was still rather rapidly
fading on Dec. 25).  We have apparently witnessed the most important
stage of the early development of superoutburst.  Fully grown superhumps,
with amplitudes nearly 0.4 mag, were seen.  The period analysis will be
undertaken by Iwamatsu-san.

    We are very looking forward to receiving any data from the collaboration
members.  Data should be sent to Iwamatsu-san (iwamatsu@kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp)
with a cc: to me, or more directly to vsnet-campaign data list:
