V383 Vel outburst
As reported by Rod Stubbings, the new dwarf nova V383 Vel = NSV04834
is in outburst. (The object had been identified as a dwarf nova by
D. B. Williams, see AAVSO Alert Notice No. 278).

The object is identified with the following USNO star.
USNO0375.11042312 102141.712 -494924.33 (2000.0) 17.4 17.9
The object can be also identified with the following ROSAT source.
102144.7 -494923 (2000.0) 1RXS-F_J102144.7-494924 0.034 1.00 0.79
Detailed observations of the current (waited?) outburst are strongly
encouraged.
