Hi,
Two nights of extensive CCD photometry on FBS 2351+228 = NSV 26158, namely August 08/09 and August 10/11, 2000, at CBA Belgium Observatory (0.35-m f/6.3 telescope and unfiltered ST7), have yielded a flat light curve, showing no obvious modulations in the photons of this peculiar object. The above finding clearly isn't particularly helpful in determining the precise nature of NSV 26158. I guess that high-resolution spectroscopy becomes mandatory to learn more about the variable.
Has anyone else made observations, either photometric or spectroscopic ?
Best regards,
Tonny Vanmunster
CBA Belgium Observatory
Aside : during the FBS 2351+228 run of August 10/11, we reached our 75.000th CCD image at CBA Belgium Observatory (counting only images making part of -mostly- a CBA campaign).
