[vsnet-alert 5169] XTE J1118+480: rapid decline continueing

Dear colleagues,

  XTE J1118+480 continues its rapid decline.  
From the data during the last two weeks, the decline rate is calculated 
to be 0.073 mag/d.
The unfiltered CCD magnitude is 14.61 on August 3 and 14.65 on August 4. 

If this decline rate is kept, the object will return the quescent level 
within this two months.  Observations are urged.
