[vsnet-alert 5001] CI Aql fading slower

CI Aql fading slower

Dear Colleagues,

Recent observations indicate that the fading of the recurrent nova
CI Aql has become noticeably slower. The following relative magnitudes
are nightly averages from Kyoto observations (observers: K. Matsumoto and
M. Uemura). Such an evolution of light curve may be reminiscent of the
stage when BeppoSAX detected supersoft X-rays from U Sco. Observations
at other wavelengths and spectroscopy are highly encouraged.

Details of the follow-up observations will appear in vsnet-campaign
list.
