Hi Dan and Brian,

=====================================

      SN 2000XXX in UGC 10121

      Y. Sato and W. D. Li, University of California at Berkeley,
on behalf of the Lick Observatory Supernova Search (cf. IAUC 6627,
7126) with the 0.8-m Katzman Automatic Imaging Telescope (KAIT),
report the discovery of an apparent supernova in UGC 10121. The SN
was discovered and confirmed on unfiltered images taken on May 6.4 UT
(mag about 18.6) and May 9.4 UT (mag about 19.0, limiting magnitude
about 20.5), respectively. The new object also appeared on an
image taken on Apr 27.4 UT (mag about 18.6). The SN is located at
R.A.=15h59m45s.52, Decl.= +18 48'13".0 (equinox 2000.0), which is
4".0 west and 9".0 north of the nucleus of UGC 10121. Unfiltered images
of the field on Apr 1.4 UT, 2000 (limiting mag about 19.0) and Jul 21.3
UT, 1998 (limiting mag about 20.0) showed nothing at the position
of the SN.
