Subject: Eclipse in CI Aql - no confirmation
Dear colleagues,
An analysis of a 1.9 hours time-resolved CCD photometry session on CI Aql,
obtained on May 04/05 2000, using the 0.35-m f/6.3 telescope at CBA Belgium
Observatory and unfiltered CCD, could not confirm the presence of an
eclipse, as suggested in vsnet-alert 4742. The observation was concluded
(due to sunrise) shortly before 03h48m UT (May 05), which was the predicted
time of mid-eclipse. No variation larger than 0.1 mag is present in the
resulting light curve.
With kind regards,
Tonny Vanmunster
