On V915 Sgr and another variable

   It has turned out by Haseda's further examination that the report in
vsnet-alert 4585 actually refers to another (apparently new) variable star,
and not for V915 Sgr.  Minoru Yamamoto (Aichi, Japan) reports his preliminary
search on his patrol films and found that the true V915 Sgr indeed showed
variability not strongly inconsistent with a Mira star, but the period seems
to strongly differ from the GCVS value.  The true V915 Sgr is bright (mv~11)
now.  Mitsugu Fujii took a spectrum of V915 Sgr on Apr. 10.81 UT, which
showed an M-type spectrum (http://vsnet1.harenet.ne.jp/~aikow/V915_Sgr.gif).
The discrepancy with the Tycho colors (and some doubtful(?) Pena et al.
photometry remain to be solved).  The new variable by Haseda, which showed
a sudden fading as in the initial report, is identified with

   GSC6870.614 183330.78 -285851.2 (2000.0) 11.56 6
   = TYC2-6870.614.1 (V=11.38, B-V=1.08)

, which has a moderate Tycho color and no IRAS identification.  This star
apparentlt needs to be urgently observed to confirm the nature of the fading.
A full detail will be reported later with the discoverer's designation.
