Greetings,
A rather disappointing series of small clouds interfered with measures of
the eclipse. However, the following times were noted. All UT, no HC
applied.
Last pre-eclipse observation: Feb12 09 35.7
Rising out of eclipse 09 50.5
First post-eclipse observation 09 59.8
Eclipse depth was greater than 1.7 magnitudes in the CCD natural system.
This suggests that the eclipse ephemeris in VSAlert 4191 is a few minutes
out. If a flat bottom is to be fitted to this particular eclipse the
ingress and egress must be decidedly asymmetric.
Tau 3 continues to fade slowly and in a 40 minute run prior to the
eclipsing star rising we did not find any superhump - but the time duration
makes this observation useful only to indicate that the star had not
disappeared. It appeared about 0.5 magnitudes fainter than on Feb 10.
Regards,
Stan
