The MACHO project has detected 2 candidate microlensing events in
progress towards the Galactic bulge.

A ~1.6 and rising on 24 Jul, expected peak near 28 Jul, duration 12
+/- 6 days.

R                             ~19.7
 
A ~2.2 and near peak on 24 Jul, duration 17 +/- 2 days.
