Dear DR Kato,
On June 2 and 3, Bosscha Observatory could get the spectra of
Nova Vela 1999. It shows emission lines in H (down to H7), 
He [OIII], [FeII] and [NeIII].
A more complete report has been submited to IAUC.
Observers :
Bambang Hidayat, Ikbal Arifyanto, Aria Utama and Shita Athiya

Unfortunately we still cannot report any photometric results.
