As a followup to my previous note about a possible SN in NGC 3294,
I should mention that the second-epoch Digitized Sky Survey image of
this galaxy was taken while SN 1990H was bright. The DSS image shows
SN 1990H about 12" almost directly east of the nucleus, at about
mag 16. SN 1990H is of course invisible on the first-epoch DSS image
of NGC 3294.
