[vsnet-alert 2847] MM Hya likely superoutburst



MM Hya likely superoutburst

  Rod Stubbings reports the SU UMa-type dwarf nova MM Hya (PG 0911-066)
is undergoing a bright outburst (likely superoutburst).  The latest reported
outburst (superoutburst) occurred in 1998 March (J. Kemp, vsnet-alert 1524),
when the presence of superhumps was first revealed (R. Novak, vsnet-alert
1529).  The best determined superhump period is P=0.05862 +/- 0.00011 d
(Harvey and Vanmunster, CVC 163, also vsnet-alert 1532).
