Re vsnet-alert 2518.
The object shown as HW Tau in Downws, Webbink and Shara would
appear not to be a CV. Recent astrometry and photometry by Arne
Henden gives the following values for this object:
05h 03m 38.5s +26d 24' 04" (J2000), V=18.281 B-V=1.357.
This is too red for a CV. Confirmation of the real HW Tau is
urgently required.
