SU UMa superoutburst confirmed The CCD time series on Dec. 28 (Ouda team rooftop station, 25-cm SCT + ST-7 unfiltered) clearly revealed the presence of superhumps, thus confirming the present outburst as a genuine superoutburst. The superhumps looked like just growing; the amplitude increased from 0.12 mag to ~0.20 mag in one cycle. The most remarkable feature was the superimposed detection of "super-QPOs", large-amplitude QPOs occasionally observed during the early stage of superoutbursts. The super-QPOs observed in SU UMa showed a typical amplitude of 0.05 mag, and a typical oscillation period of 10-15 min. For more information of the super-QPOs, see http://vsnet.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/vsnet/DNe/superqpo.html Follow-up observations are strongly recommended. Regards, Taichi Kato
